KAVALLE MI | Canadian National Reserve Champion

Congratulations to Joanne & Ram Gunabalan on the latest succes of KAVALLE MI. Scoring an impressive 397.5, KAVALLE was named Canadian National Reserve Champion Senior Stallion in Brandon, Manitoba. KAVALLE has been an incredibly consistent winner for the Gunabalans since his arrival in the United States in early 2014. A successive winner in his age division at Scottsdale in both 2014 & 2015, KAVALLE has also been twice unanimous Region 10 Champion Stallion in back to back seasons. PRUSSIA MI | Silver Champion in Chantilly

Congratulations to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahd Al Saud on the success of PRUSSIA MI at the AHO World Cup in Chantilly, France. PRUSSIA MI was the scored the winner in the class of three-year old colts, later earning the title of Silver Champion Junior Stallion in the Championship on Friday afternoon. PRUSSIA MI is one of the most successful sons of Triple Crown Champion ABHA QATAR, having won titles all across Europe, North America & the Arabian Gulf. PRUSSIA is also the banner carrier internationally for his illustrious and beloved dam PARADA - a twice Australian National Champion and an Aristocrat Dam of four champions at Mulawa.

KLASSICAL DREAM MI | Gold in Menton

Congratulations are once again in order to HRH Prince Khaled Bin Sultan Bin AbdulAziz Al Saud and Al Khalediah Stables. On Saturday, 13 June in Menton, France, at the prestigious Mediterranean and Arab Countries Championships, KLASSICAL DREAM MI won the highly competitive class for Mares 4-7 Years of Age for the second year in a row. DREAM returned to the ring on Sunday with Philippe Hosay at the lead to claim her most prestigious victory to date: Gold Champion Senior Mare. Competing against both the Junior Champion Mare and Yearling Champion Filly, KLASSICAL DREAM was named Best in Show amongst all the female entries. We are incredibly proud of all that DREAM has accomplished and continues to achieve on the world stage.

IMPRESSA MI | Region 10 Champion Mare

Returning to the ring after a long hiatus following her win as Scottsdale International Gold Champion Senior Mare in early 2014, IMPRESSA conquered the best of the Midwest in St. Paul over the weekend to be named Region 10 Champion Senior Mare. Earlier in 2015, IMPRESSA delivered a beautiful filly by KAVALLE MI via embryo transfer. Thank you Joanne & Ram for believing in the Mulawa horses and for giving them both such wonderful homes. 2014-2015 Breeder of the Year

We are tremendously pleased to announce that for both 2014 & 2015, Mulawa Arabian Stud was honoured as Purebred Breeder of the Year at the Australian National Championships. These awards were announced at the Annual General Meeting of the Arabian Horse Society of Australia in late March. The late Mulawa chief sire MAGNUM FORTY FOUR was also honoured as Purebred Sire of the Year for a record fifth time. We are incredibly thankful to the the many breeders both in Australia and around the world whose decades of dedication to the Arabian horse have contributed to our success. We look forward with great expectation to a bright future for the Arabian horse here at home and all across the globe.

KLASS | WAHO Horse of the Year

An ANGEL in Vegas

Congratulations to VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI, who made her Senior Mare debut at the Arabian Breeders World Cup in Las Vegas this afternoon. Scoring an impressive 339 points, VALENTINO'S ANGEL was named World Cup Champion Four Year Old Mare! VALENTINO'S ANGEL was once again handled by Andrew Sellman of Argent Farms. A special thank to the entire Argent Farms staff for your superb care. ANGEL is proudly owned by HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahd Al Saud of Al Mohamadia Farms - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Thank you to Prince Abdullah, and the Dr. Bruce & Karin McCrea for your continued faith in ANGEL. She was honoured with the Supreme Bronze Senior Mare Championship on Sunday afternoon!

The National Champion Mares of Mulawa

For over four decades, mares have been the cornerstone of the Mulawa program. Proudly stewarding 16 dam families from 12 unique dam lines, Mulawa has thoughtfully assembled and bred a world-class collection of broodmares that continue to raise the standard of excellence in Australia. From this superb group of mares, Mulawa is honoured to have bred the last successive five Australian National Champion Mares. Each of these Australian National Champions represents a unique Mulawa dam family, while several of these mares have already gone on to produce champion progeny of their own.

Aristocrat Dam | ALWAYS AN ANGEL

ALWAYS AN ANGEL made Arabian breed history at the 2015 Australian Championships with her son VANGELIS MI & daughter ALWAYS VALENTINE MI. Both were awarded highest scoring horse in their respective divisions, joining their sister, United States & Canadian National Champion VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI, as unanimous Australian National Champions. A special thank you to Dan & Maureen Grossman as well as David Boggs for sharing DA VALENTINO, the sire of each of these exceptional horses, with the Mulawa program.

Bronze Champion in Dubai | KLASSICAL DREAM MI

Congratulations to HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the latest international success of KLASSICAL DREAM MI! Winning the class for Four to Six Year Old Mares at the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championships, KLASSICAL DREAM went on to be named Bronze Champion Senior Mare amongst elite competition at her second ECAHO title show. With her success in Dubai, KLASSICAL DREAM can now claim championship honours, incredibly, on five continents. Unanimous National Champion | ALWAYS VALENTINE MI

In unprecedented fashion, ALWAYS VALENTINE MI has finished her Senior Mare season in Australia undefeated and a unanimous Australian National Champion! From September 2014 to March 2015, ALWAYS VALENTINE was shown just four times at the continent's leading events, each time emerging victorious. This past season marked the debut of ALWAYS VALENTINE MI on home soil, as she had previously been campaigned as a Two Year Old in North America with Andrew Sellman and Argent Farms. With her record-setting show career behind her, ALWAYS VALENTINE will now resume her broodmare duties in the Mulawa breeding program.

RACQUEL MI | The Promise of Poland at Mulawa

Mulawa is delighted to announce the success of RACQUEL MI, as both Australian National & East Coast Reserve Champion Yearling Filly. RACQUEL is the first Mulawa-bred daughter of POGROM to be shown in Australia. Through her multi-international champion sire, RACQUEL introduces the influence of Poland's phenomenally successful "P" line to the Mulawa breeding program. RACQUEL is uniquely blessed with a second influence of living legend MARWAN AL SHAQAB through her extraordinary dam RIMARAA. A KLASS All His Own

The Australian National Championships once again proved extremely successful for the get of KLASS . With a universally acclaimed reputation for siring horses of the highest calibre, KLASS continues to rewrite the record books in Australia and raise the standard of excellence for the Arabian breed worldwide. Reigning Australian National Champions KLASSICAL PRESENCE MI - 2014 National Champion Junior Filly - and KLASSICAL DEVOTION MI - 2014 National Champion Yearling Filly - both returned to compete for Mulawa in the Junior Filly division. Each became the highest scoring filly in their respective age divisions, with KLASSICAL PRESENCE earning the highest score amongst all the female entrants at the show.

MAGNUM FORTY FOUR | National Championships Leading Sire

The 2015 Australian National Championships proved once again a very successful event for the descendants of MAGNUM FORTY FOUR. In both the halter and performance rings, three generations of MAGNUM FORTY FOUR get earned over 45 National Championship titles at Australia's most prestigious event. MAGNUM FORTY FOUR already holds the record as the most accomplished sire of Australian National Champion winners, having earned the Leading Sire award at the Australian National Championships an unprecedented four times.

MAXIMILLIANO | Setting the Australian Standard

The 2015 Australian National Championships in Werribee, Victoria proved to be a momentous occasion for MAXIMILLIANO . In a unanimous decision by all three judges, "MAX" was named National Champion Senior Stallion with Jason Hodgins, and in doing so, became the first stallion in Aussie history to be named National Champion in all three age divisions. It is only fitting that MAXIMILLIANO is proudly owned by Kay & Phil Edward of Shane Edward Arabians, since Kay & Phil are responsible for breeding his dam - the incomparable MUSTANG'S MAGNUM . Congratulations to TRUST MI on achieving the title of Australian National Reserve Champion Junior Colt! TRUST is proudly owned by Tegan Harris & Aaron Schmidt of South Australia. Purchased as a yearling at the Mulawa Open Day in 2012, TRUST has been a faithful campaigner for the young couple all across Australia. In addition to winning with TRUST at the Australian National Championships, Tegan & Aaron were also very successful with BRANDO MI as National Reserve Champion Junior Gelding. Australian National Arabian Championships 2015

Congratulations to all the winners at the 2015 Australian National Arabian Championships, held at Werribee National Equestrian Centre in Victoria. Mulawa-bred, owned, trained and shown horses have been rewarded with numerous championship honours both in-hand and halter. We are especially proud of the clean sweep of the gelding category by clients with Mulawa-bred horses, as well as the second successive win for FAMES PHANTOM MI as National Champion Arabian Gelding Under Saddle. Mulawa-bred horses also won both Champion & Reserve Champion in the Junior Filly & Colt divisions, as well as unanimous National Champion Yearling Colt with the high score of the show.

East Coast Championships Success | 2015

Mulawa is incredibly proud of the team of Arabians & Arabian Derivatives that competed at the 2015 East Coast Championships. It was an incredibly successful show for both the halter and performance teams, as well as for Mulawa-bred and Mulawa Community horses. FAMES PHANTOM MI won the East Coast Cup for a second time, giving Mulawa five successive wins in this prestigious competition. Both VANGELIS MI & ALWAYS VALENTINE MI scored big wins in undefeated seasons thus far. Congratulations to all the winners!

Victorian Classic Success

Congratulations are in order for the group of Mulawa-bred horses who recently competed at the Victorian Classic at Werribee Park. Under Shannon Armstrong of the USA, three Mulawa-bred get sired by Australian Champion GUILIANO were named Supreme Champions in each of the purebred divisions, resulting in a clean sweep for sire and breeder. Paris Success | KLASSICAL DREAM MI and PRUSSIA MI

Congratulations to Al Khalediah Stables & Al Mohamadia Farm on their success with the Mulawa bred respresentatives competing at the World Arabian Horse Championships at the Salon du Cheval in Paris. Both KLASSICAL DREAM MI & PRUSSIA MI finished second in their qualifying classes with excellent scores, and were both awarded the prestigious title of World Champion Top Ten in their respective divisions. Held over two days at the Berrilee location in rural Sydney, the information-rich event entitled "LET'S TALK HORSES" is designed to provide Australians with cutting-edge equine knowledge and access to leading international professionals in their respective fields of expertise, encompassing not only the Arabian horse, Arabian Dervatives, Warmbloods and FEI-level Dressage, but all breeds competing across disciplines from beginner to the highest level of equine sport. MULAWA ANGELUS | Top 15 in Normandy

Exciting news from the World Equestrian Games in Normandy! MULAWA ANGELUS, an 11 year old gelding sired by Australian & Brazilian National Champion TS AL MALIK and out the invaluable Mulawa foundation mare M ANGELIQUE, competed under the flag of Thailand for owner Mr. Prutirat Rattanakul Serireongrith, with rider Wipawan Pawitayalarp in the saddle. At the finish, ANGELUS and Wipawan achieved an impressive Top 20 position in 14th place with a total riding time of 09:55:49.
