The 2015 Australian National Championships in Werribee, Victoria proved to be a momentous occasion for MAXIMILLIANO . In a unanimous decision by all three judges, "MAX" was named National Champion Senior Stallion with Jason Hodgins, and in doing so, became the first stallion in Aussie history to be named National Champion in all three age divisions. It is only fitting that MAXIMILLIANO is proudly owned by Kay & Phil Edward of Shane Edward Arabians, since Kay & Phil are responsible for breeding his dam - the incomparable MUSTANG'S MAGNUM . A daughter of Mulawa's supersire MAGNUM FORTY FOUR and the Edward's prize South Australian Champion Mare SAHTARAH , MUSTANG'S MAGNUM was a favorite

Congratulations to TRUST MI on achieving the title of Australian National Reserve Champion Junior Colt! TRUST is proudly owned by Tegan Harris & Aaron Schmidt of South Australia. Purchased as a yearling at the Mulawa Open Day in 2012, TRUST has been a faithful campaigner for the young couple all across Australia. In addition to winning with TRUST at the Australian National Championships, Tegan & Aaron were also very successful with BRANDO MI as National Reserve Champion Junior Gelding. We wish both TRUST & BRANDO continued success in South Australia. May they both continue to bring you joy and happiness for many more years to come!

Congratulations to all the winners at the 2015 Australian National Arabian Championships, held at Werribee National Equestrian Centre in Victoria. Mulawa-bred, owned, trained and shown horses have been rewarded with numerous championship honours both in-hand and halter. We are especially proud of the clean sweep of the gelding category by clients with Mulawa-bred horses, as well as the second successive win for FAMES PHANTOM MI as National Champion Arabian Gelding Under Saddle. Mulawa-bred horses also won both Champion & Reserve Champion in the Junior Filly & Colt divisions, as well as unanimous National Champion Yearling Colt with the high score of the show.

Mulawa is incredibly proud of the team of Arabians & Arabian Derivatives that competed at the 2015 East Coast Championships. It was an incredibly successful show for both the halter and performance teams, as well as for Mulawa-bred and Mulawa Community horses. FAMES PHANTOM MI won the East Coast Cup for a second time, giving Mulawa five successive wins in this prestigious competition. Both VANGELIS MI & ALWAYS VALENTINE MI scored big wins in undefeated seasons thus far. Congratulations to all the winners!

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved KARMAA. The Heart & Soul of Mulawa for over two decades, KARMAA continues to bless breeding programs around the world with four generations of incomparable descendants. Our lives are infinitely richer to have shared 25 wonderful and unforgettable years with you, KARMAA. The celebration of your life is the legacy of the generations yet to come. We thank you for all that you were, all that you are, and all that you continue to be.

Congratulations are in order for the group of Mulawa-bred horses who recently competed at the Victorian Classic at Werribee Park. Under Shannon Armstrong of the USA, three Mulawa-bred get sired by Australian Champion GUILIANO were named Supreme Champions in each of the purebred divisions, resulting in a clean sweep for sire and breeder. Congratulations to all the owners and exhibitors on your success in Victoria!

Each and every day, it is an honour and a privilege for us to be involved with the Arabian horse. We are incredibly thankful for the wonderful and colourful people it has brought into our lives and for the joy, happiness and fulfillment these horses continue to inspire in all of us. Congratulations to Al Khalediah Stables & Al Mohamadia Farm on their success with the Mulawa bred respresentatives competing at the World Arabian Horse Championships at the Salon du Cheval in Paris. Both KLASSICAL DREAM MI & PRUSSIA MI finished second in their qualifying classes with excellent scores, and were both awarded the prestigious title of World Champion Top Ten in their respective divisions. Congratulations to all the proud owners, handlers and managers for believing in the Arabian horses of Mulawa and for choosing them to promote their programs worldwide.

Highlights include a clean sweep of the Yearling Championships by Mulawa-bred horses, full sibling championship wins for ALWAYS VALENTINE MI (Senior Mare) and VANGELIS MI (Yearling Colt), and Supreme Saddle Horse of the Show honours for FAMES PHANTOM MI.

Congratulations to MULAWA INSPIRED (Magnum Forty Four x Jiah Aspire by GLF Apollo)! At the 2014 Queensland Arabian Horse of the Year Show, INSPIRED emerged victorious as Champion Purebred Gelding Under Saddle. Later the same day competing against the Champions from the Purebred Stallion & Mare divisions, INSPIRED was sashed Queensland Champion Purebred Horse of the Year. Congratulations to Tahlia & Sharon, Peta & Ashleigh and to MULAWA INSPIRED on all of your well deserved success. We are incredibly proud of how the Mulawa-bred Arabians have brought joy, reward and success into the lives of so many people around the world.

Shown last week during the prestigious Salon du Cheval in El Jadida, Morocco, KLASSICAL DREAM MI was named Gold Champion Senior Mare with full consent from all the judges! Congratulations to HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bi Abdul Aziz Al Saud and Al Khalediah Stables, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on this success. The best possible news from Tulsa, Oklahoma - VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI has been crowned United States National Champion Three Year Old Filly! Congratulations to Joanne & Ram Gunabalan and KAVALLE MI! At the United States National Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, KAVALLE earned the title of US National Reserve Champion Three Year Old Stallion amongst strong competition from around the world. Mulawa is proud to announce that the annual Open Day celebration will now be conducted under a new name: the Mulawa Symposium. Held over two days at the Berrilee location in rural Sydney, the information-rich event entitled "LET'S TALK HORSES" is designed to provide Australians with cutting-edge equine knowledge and access to leading international professionals in their respective fields of expertise, encompassing not only the Arabian horse, Arabian Dervatives, Warmbloods and FEI-level Dressage, but all breeds competing across disciplines from beginner to the highest level of equine sport. Mark your calendars for the first annual Mulawa Symposium: Saturday & Sunday, the 4th & 5th of October.

Exciting news from the World Equestrian Games in Normandy! MULAWA ANGELUS, an 11 year old gelding sired by Australian & Brazilian National Champion TS AL MALIK and out the invaluable Mulawa foundation mare M ANGELIQUE, competed under the flag of Thailand for owner Mr. Prutirat Rattanakul Serireongrith, with rider Wipawan Pawitayalarp in the saddle. At the finish, ANGELUS and Wipawan achieved an impressive Top 20 position in 14th place with a total riding time of 09:55:49.

Congratulations to HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin AbdulAziz Al Saud on the success of KLASSICAL DREAM MI at the United Kingdom International Arabian Horse Show (UKIAHS) in Addington this weekend. Not only did DREAM score the highest marks amongst all the female entries at this all important ECAHO-rated A-show, she was named unanimous Champion Senior Mare from all five international judges. Best of luck to the entire Al Khalediah Team throughout the upcoming show seasons in Europe & the Middle East!

Our most enthusiastic congratulations to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Fahad Al Saud on the recent crowning of VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI as Canadian National Champion Mare! In a unanimous decision of five judges, VALENTINO'S ANGEL MI became the very first Australian-bred mare to earn the senior mare title of Canadian National Champion and one of the youngest ever at just one month shy of turning three years old. Thank you especially to Dr. Bruce McCrea for believing in ANGEL from the very beginning and for sharing her with the rest of the Arabian community worldwide at the elite level of competition. We wish HRH Prince Abdullah and Al Mohamadia continued success with ANGEL and years of enjoyment with this incredible mare.

Congratulations to Al Khalediah Stables & HRH Prince Khaled bbin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud! At the prestigious West Coast Cup in Belgium over the weekend, KLASSICAL DREAM MI was named Gold Champion Mare with Philippe Hosay. This was the second show for KLASSICAL DREAM MI, following her debut at Menton in June. Fresh from her arrival from North America by just four days, DREAM debuted in spectacular style by winning her class, defeating two former World Champions in the process.
