20 September 1981 – 04 September 2017 It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of a true Aussie Superstar - the wondrous APPLAUSE, who moved on to greener pastures yesterday at the grand age of thirty-six. As the last living son of Mulawa Foundation Sire AMBITION, the passing of APPLAUSE marks the closing of the final chapter of the earliest days of the Mulawa programme, which began over four decades ago with imports from the UK & the USA. Remembered fondly alongside three-quarter brother MULAWA THE QUEST, these two legendary sons of AMBITION did more to affirm the positive reputation of both Mulawa and the Polish Arabian in the performance arena than any pair of athletes in Australia.

VENICE MI October 2015 Chestnut Filly  (Allegiance MI x Valentine MI by DA Valentino) Fifth-Generation Mulawa-Bred International Champion  Member of the VALENTINE MI Family UK International Silver Champion Junior Filly 1st Place - 2 Year Old Fillies VENICE made her international debut over the weekend for new owner Al Muawd Stud at the UK International. With Rhodri Jones at the lead, VENICE scored higher than all the other junior fillies, and ahead of all the other filly/mare competition with the exception of the Senior Champion Mare. We are incredibly proud of VENICE on her first outing overseas, and look forward to more success for her & Al Muawd.

GALAXY MI Shahzada Memorial Ride 2017 Winner | Middleweight Division Finish Time: 40:19:00 The Shahzada Memorial Ride is the ultimate test for horse and rider of 400km over five days up and down the beautiful mountains surrounding the picturesque Macdonald Valley near St. Albans, north west of Sydney, NSW. Debbie & GALAXY finished the gruelling test of endurance almost 7 hours ahead of the nearest competitor in the Middleweight Division, completing the monumental 400km at an impressive 9.92km/hour. Congratulations to Mulawa Performance on the outstanding results achieved at the 2017 Sydney CDI this weekend.  Katharine Farrell & LUXOR 118 , after a few months off recovering from an injury, have finished the prestigious competition with an undefeated record. On Thursday, the pair scored 69.04 from the international panel to win the Mulawa Performance FEI CDI-U25 Intermediate II. The following day, LUXOR & Kate scored a 68.744 to win the Mulawa Performance FEI CDI-U25 Grand Prix. Team Mulawa was once again on hand for the Australasian Breeders Cup held in conjunction with Sydney's Equifest. Exhibiting under the distinguished pair of international judges & breeders - Murray Popplewell of Rae-Dawn Arabians (Canada) & Rhodri Jones  (Wales) - as well under the experienced eye of well-known horseman & judge Doug Rutherford from Queensland, three Mulawa superstars were awarded top honours at the event.    Highest Scoring Horse of the Show was ROMANCE MI  with 334.5 points and a very impressive and internationally competitive 92.9%.
