First-Generation Mulawa-Bred Sire
Member of the EUNI Family
The important and aptly named ARRIVAL represents the AMBITION sire line, son of the legendary BASK, at Mulawa. Pure Polish in pedigree, ARRIVAL was out of the Janow Podlaski-bred EUNI (Bandos x Eunice by Comet), a full sister to Polish breeding legends EUKALIPTUS & EUROPA, and an invaluable foundation mare for the program. Intentionally purchased to breed to AMBITION, EUNI proved an extraordinary cross, producing in addition to ARRIVAL, Mulawa's first home-bred Australian Champion Mare - MULAWA EUNIQUE.
ARRIVAL was a stunning flea bitten grey stallion who exemplified his intense COMET heritage. Never shown and a Mulawa favourite, ARRIVAL proved himself to be a worthy sire, with dozens of champion descendants in both halter and performance. He was very much the image of his illustrious sire AMBITION, with a wonderful temperament and manners.
ARRIVAL was born on the farm and knew no home but Mulawa. At home, ARRIVAL lived an idyllic life, living across the barn aisle, and in later years across the pasture aisle, from half-brother and friendly rival VISION. ARRIVAL was truly loved both as a horse and for his significance in the early years of Mulawa. ARRIVAL now rests with honour beside his dam and brother - he will forever hold a firm place in our hearts.
The enduring influence of AMBITION through his most important son ARRIVAL was featured in the Arabian Horse News in 2016.
