Sales Activity Leading Up to Open Day 2013

One can always anticipate the excitement of the annual Mulawa Open Day by monitoring sales activity within the program. 2013 has been an especially busy pre-season, with sales of several horses to three different Australian states.

Local owner & Mulawa Community member Tim Bednall returned to Mulawa in search of high quality geldings and found the yearling KANSAS MI (Konfidence MI X Valencia by DA Valentino) as well as the three-year old KADENCE MI (Guiliano x Mulawa Karismaa by Magnum Psyche), full brother to East Coast Champion KONQUEST MI. KASH MI owner, Alison Georgas of NSW, was also back to look for high quality horses and found the yearling filly KARLA MI (Konfidence MI x Destine To Be MI by Fame Maker R).

The other two pre-Open Day purchases both involved horses that found success at the NSW State Titles Show in early September. Gayle Elliott of South Australia is the proud new owner of BE MI LITE (Allegiance MI x Mulawa Behold by GLF Apollo), who won the title of NSW State Titles Reserve Champion Junior Filly. Natasha Cook of NSW had even greater success with KRUSADE MI (Klass x DM Marcedes True Love by RHR Marcedes), who was awarded the title of Champion Junior Gelding at the same event, winning with great fanfare and acclaim.

A special congratulations to Phil & Kay Edward of Victoria on the recent purchase of East Coast & Australian Champion MAXIMILLIANO. A son of Phil's & Kay's incomparable MUSTANG'S MAGNUM, we look forward to future success of this exceptional young stallion under the guidance of Shane Edward Arabians!
