Mulawa Wins AHSA Annual Awards
Mulawa was the recipient of two major awards on Tuesday night at the Arabian Horse Society of Australia AGM at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
For the fourth year in a row, Mulawa was named Purebred Breeder of the Year for wins earned at the 2011 Australian Championships. In unprecedented style, Team Mulawa Halter & Peformance earned an incredible 21 Australian Champions, 14 Australian Reserve Champions & 8 Top Tens in Tamworth last March. Team Halter accomplished a most impressive four double championship wins, dominating the Yearling Fillies, Two & Three Year Old Fillies, Senior Mares & Yearling Colts with both the Champion & Reserve Champion award winners.
Team Performance was no less well rewarded in Tamworth with wins across the board in eight separate divisions. Leading the team were the late great SUMMERZAR IMAGERY and Kate Farrell with six Australian Championships and 2011 AHSA Purebred Saddle Horse of the Year MULAWA BRONZE WINGS with three Australian Championships, two Reserves and one Top Ten.
We are extremely proud of these accomplishments for both Team Halter and Team Performance. Together, we look forward to the 2012 Australian Championships this week and to defending both the Breeder of the Year & Purebred Saddle Horse of the Year titles.
