MAXIUM | Scottsdale Champion Working Cow Horse
Inspiring news from Scottsdale! Former Scottsdale halter winner MAXIUM is now achieving success as a performer in the demanding discipline of Working Cow Horse. In his debut with rider April Canavan, MAXIUM achieved scores of 65 & 63 to qualify for and win the Scottsdale Working Cow Horse Hackamore/Snaffle Bit Championship.
Now proudly owned by Francisco Rengel of Mexico, MAXIUM has achieved past success as Scottsdale International Reserve Champion Two Year Old Colt with Andrew Sellman. Now having just turned five (October 2009), MAXIUM is showing great promise as a working western horse with natural talent and a willing highly trainable attitude. A special thank you to Sandro Pinha and Pam Donnelly for connecting MAXIUM with his new owner and trainer.
A son of the late great MAGNUM FORTY FOUR, MAXIUM is out of the esteemed champion-producing broodmare SAHTARAH. Bred in partnership with Kay & Phil Edward of Shane Edward Arabians, MAXIUM is a full brother to MUSTANG’S MAGNUM - undefeated Australian Champion as a yearling and the most accomplished young broodmare on the continent with an incredible six champions to her credit, including Australian & East Coast Champions MAXIMILLIANO, MAXIMISE MI, FAMES PHANTOM MI, MI KLASSIC FANTASY and KLASSICAL DREAM MI.
MAXIUM is the fourth Mulawa-bred horse to show and succeed at Scottsdale in 2014, and the second Scottsdale Champion along with Scottsdale International Gold Champion IMPRESSA MI. Mulawa is incredibly proud of his accomplishments, as well as of those of his stablemates, who achieved amazing success and held the banner high for Australia at the greatest Arabian horse event on the planet!
