Final Foal of the Season at Mulawa

The final foal of the 2012-2013 season was born this morning, January 18th Aussie time, or better said, Alabama time. We are proud to report it is yet another filly, this time a stunning bay out of former Scottsdale Champion LLC BRIANA, sired by Mulawa junior stallion ALLEGIANCE MI.

Thus far, both BRIANA and ALLEGIANCE have emerged as the superstars of the current Mulawa foal crop. Together, the pair produced three superb fillies via embryo transfer, all within five weeks of each other and all a different colour! The eldest, a uber-charismatic grey, was born in mid-December. The next two ultra-refined feminine beauties, a chestnut and bay, respectively, were born just two days apart in January. In just her second year of production at Mulawa, BRIANA has proven her exceptional worth as a broodmare with these sensational fillies. A daughter of the reigning two-time US National Champion PYRO THYME SA, BRIANA can also claim the illustrious heritage of her US National Champion dam RD FABREANNA, already an Aristocrat Dam at just seven years of age. Expect to see the BRIANA fillies in the Aussie show ring in late 2013 and in the international show ring in early 2014!

National Stud Show Champion ALLEGIANCE MI, the young stallion who miraculously survived a broken hock as a yearling, has proven himself to be a sire of significant promise with just his second foal crop on the ground. Not only has he sired the three superlative fillies out of BRIANA, but has also sired two other exotic grey fillies from two of the best Mulawa mare families. The eldest, is perhaps the best foal of the entire season, and possibly the best filly ever bred at Mulawa: an ethereal chestnut out of twice National Stud Show Champion MAE MARIE, a premier daughter of the Queen of Mulawa herself, KARMAA. The newest grey ALLEGIANCE filly is out of the young FAME MAKER R daughter, DESTINE TO BE, a daughter of Australian, East Coast & National Stud Show Champion Mare MULAWA BEHOLD. ALLEGIANCE is also the sire of two very promising young colts: the younger out of Victorian Supreme Champion MULAWA ASPIRING and the elder out of VALENTINE MI, a daughter of six-time US National Champion DA VALENTINO and Aristocrat Dam HL INFACTUATION. All of the ALLEGIANCE foals are blessed with his exotic type and refinement, beautifully shaped heads with small muzzles, broad foreheads and large dark eyes, long, upright, elegantly shaped necks, smooth harmonious balance, as well as aristocratic presence and exuberant charisma. Destined early for international export as a result of his extreme type, superior show attitude and exceptional phenotype, we could not be more pleased that ALLEGIANCE MI has rewritten his own history while remaining at Mulawa.
