NSW State Titles | Mulawa Community Results
Congratulations to the Mulawa Community on an extraordinary day at the NSW State Titles! In the purebred halter ring, the Mulawa-bred horses reigned supreme, winning five of the six championships, while finishing Reserve Champion in five of the six divisions as well.
ELEGANCE MI, in her show ring debut, was the star of the day, winning not only the Junior Filly Championship, but Supreme Champion Arabian Exhibit in a top line-up. Sally Harvey's KHARACTER MI was the unequivocal winner of the 'charisma on tap' award, showing with an incredible amount of animation and confidence on each occasion, looking more like a seasoned pro than a yearling colt in his show ring debut. Looking better than ever, KATAR MI, now in the superb care of Shay Riddle, dazzled the crowd with the most powerful and animated trot of the day, easily capturing the Senior Arabian Stallion Championship.
Robert Hayward's former Australian National Gold Champion SALUTE MI had an exceptional day, winning the Champion Senior Arabian Gelding with Robbie and Champion Led-Arabian Gelding Non-Pro with his mother. DaMar Arabians gorgeous filly BE LOVED DA was a star in the yearling fillies, scoring the Reserve Arabian Junior Filly Championship behind ELEGANCE MI. Her dam, BE INFATUATED, completed her return to the ring with the most sensational entrance of the day - tail flagged, neck arched, snorting and blowing her way to first place in the aged mares and well-deserved Reserve Champion Arabian Senior Mare accolades. Brittany Jessup's Mulawa-bred geldings TREND MI & PARLANCE MI finished the day Junior Champion & Reserve Senior Champion, respectively. Alysha New took the lead of GRACE MI, also looking better than ever, to win Reserve Champion Led Arabian Mare Non-Pro.
Beloved Mulawa broodmatrons KARESS & MULAWA KARISMAA, both members of the illustrious KARMAA dam family, had an excellent day, with two winners each. KARESS added to her exceptional production record with her seventh champion produce with KHARACTER, a record which includes six champion sons - KATAR MI, KAVALLE MI, KAVALIER MI, KONFIDENCE MI & PROMOTE MI. MULAWA KARISMAA earned Aristocrat Dam status with two additional winners on the day - Reserve Champions KAREER MI (Junior Colt) & ADONIS MI (Junior Gelding).
