IMPRESSA MI Makes History as Canadian National Champion Senior Mare

Congratulations to Joanne & Ram Gunabalan, JR's Dream Arabians - USA, on their continued success with IMPRESSA MI. Just this past week in Brandon, Manitoba, IMPRESSA was named Canadian National Champion Senior Mare by unanimous consent of all five judges, and in doing so, also earned the highest score from amongst all the females at the show.

This important win gives IMPRESSA MI her second National Championship, having been named Canadian National Champion Two Year Old Filly in 2013. IMPRESSA MI also becomes the second unanimous National Champion Senior Mare for her breeders - the Farrell Family & Mulawa Arabian Stud - following up on the identical win for VALENTINO'S ANGEL in 2014. Throughout her impressive show career, IMPRESSA has set be a record-setter on several occasions, including earning the Scottsdale International Senior Mare Gold Championship at just 30 months of age. This inaugural senior win made her the youngest horse in breed history to earn a Senior Championship in the over 60-year history of the prestigious Scottsdale Show, the largest (and one the longest running) Arabian horse show in the world.

Our heartfelt congratulations to Joanne & Ram and the entire Gunabalan Family for your record-breaking success with IMPRESSA MI. Our deepest respect and gratitude to Andrew & Angela Sellman, and the entire Argent Farms Team, for continuing to care so responsibly for IMPRESSA, and for providing the best opportunities to showcase her brilliance.
